Jacqueline Street Alliance | Update and Prayer

Jacqueline Street Alliance—a church plant of West London Alliance Church and a New Venture of the CCD—has been meeting on Sunday evenings for vision and prayer nights in preparation for their Easter launch. Jude St. John, the senior pastor of West London, has been encouraged by the Jacqueline Street team and recently mentioned that “hospitality is definitely a strength of the group.” Jude is also encouraged by the core group’s faithfulness and commitment to meeting together on-site at their facility in the Chelsea Green neighbourhood. New Venture leader and pastor of Jacqueline Street Rhys Plant has fond memories of their first night together:

“[It] was amazing. Seeing the group start to take shape and come together for the first [gathering] … was a real blessing.”

As he considers the future of Jacqueline Street, Rhys’ excitement about “everything” is contagious. He can’t wait to see what God is going to do in and through this church:

“I’m looking forward to [God] saving people in Chelsea Green and using Jacqueline Street to impact London, Canada and the world.”

Jude is also excited about the support being expressed by other churches in the area. The evangelical church located closest to the Jacqueline Street Alliance building wrote an email of blessing saying that they look forward to having more kingdom co-labourers in the neighbourhood. These churches are surrounded by people who need Jesus and Jude is thankful to partner together in mission.

As West London and Jacqueline Street pursue faithfulness and follow Jesus’ lead in their church planting endeavours, we invite all the people and churches of the CCD to lift them up in prayer.

Pray for …

… wisdom and grace as the team at Jacqueline Street prepares for their Easter launch.

… strength and protection for Rhys’ family

hearts to be softened so that those who have yet to put their trust in Jesus would hear and believe

the leadership of West London Alliance, that they would lead well during this time of transition.

In addition to these requests above, please take a moment to ask the Holy Spirit, “How can I pray for the community of Chelsea Green, Jacqueline Street and West London Alliance Church?”
